General Application of CIPAA 2012
01. Applies to every Construction Contract made ‘in writing’ which can be divided into two categories:
i) Construction Consultancy Contract;
-Service includes:
- Planning and feasibility study
- Architectural Work
- Engineering
- Surveying
- Exterior and Interior Decoration
- Landscaping
- Project Management Services
ii) Construction Work Contract
02. CIPAA also covers any Construction work which is 'Wholly or Partially'within territory of Malaysia
Include:
- West Malaysia
- Sabah
- Sarawak
03. CIPAA applies to all construction Contracts in Private and Public Sector.
- Public Sector include Federal Government and State Government.
